Drake Farm
Center Effingham, NH

Center Effingham is located 45 miles due west of Portland,Maine and 45 miles north and west of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The
Drake townhouse is a classic Federal clapboard built by Thomas Parsons Drake in 1819.  Mr. Drake was a prominent businessman
and entrepreneur who later became a respected judge. The current owners, Joan and Rod Lanum, have worked 24 years on restoring
the home and more recently restoring pastures for livestock.

Drake Farm is the home of Icelandic horses, American Shetland ponies, Old English Babydoll Southdown and Babydoll cross sheep, cashgora and nygora miniature goats, Jindycats cattery and Belle Fleur kennel.  We
are devoted to the well-being of our animals and seek to place young animals with people who share our dedication. Our animals are routinely wormed, vet checked, immunized, and are guaranteed for their excellent health and breeding potential.

Fleeces are available in the spring. Spinner's and weaver's roving is processed by Zeilinger Wool and available in a variety of beautiful blends from our sheep and goats.

Currently we have a three year old registered pinto American Shetland filly for sale. Penny Royal is gentle, healthy, UTD on Coggins, immunizations, worming and ferrier. Will begin harness training in the spring of 2011 so current price of $800 will increase next year. .
